I hate to hear that. I’ll always remember when the CMAs awards slighted George Jones. Alan Jackson had done about four beats of his scheduled song and cut into one of George’s numbers. When he got done he just dropped the mic on the stage and walked off. That spoke a lot a bout him to me.
I haven’t heard it confirmed yet, but if true, may he RIP.

I haven’t heard it confirmed yet, but if true, may he RIP. Yep. I remember that. Buddy of mine use to sell cars in Nashville. He said he sold Alan two Ford trucks and delivered them to his house. Said he was about as down to earth as it gets.
