You mean he’s not already buried in a grave out west of Terlingua???😉
(I don’t have the shovel) So, Mr Woodie, you wouldn’t mind letting us look around the place for any fresh graves or muddy shovels, would you?

You definitely lose some hero by association points for not mentioning BORTAC, though. You're slipping You seem "salty". It's a bit of a serious topic for you to start swing that purse for no reason. Maybe dial it back a bit? Be glad a mass murdering schitt bag is dead? Why worry that a dude in Wyoming has better source than you?

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

So, the car at the boat launch twist will just be pushed under the rug? He had assistance if there was another vehicle. And he didn't ditch the car and set off on foot.

So if you take the guns that person has and release them back on the street, what keeps them from buying another gun, or using a vehicle to run some people down, or a chain saw, baseball bat or a freaking hammer, (which killed more people last year in Tennessee than all kinds of rifles put together). That's part of what makes the argument for requiring background checks for all sales. I agree that they can find another weapon, but you'd have to be pretty proficient to kill 20 people with a hammer, chainsaw or baseball bat in a matter of seconds/minutes and attacks from those weapons are easily thwarted by keeping a distance or closing a door. Do you believe in our Constitution as written? Absolutely believe in the constitution. But the supreme court has ruled that all rights have boundaries. You can't use your free speech to yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater. So where do we as a society put the boundaries? I believe almost everyone on this board has said that the guy had proved himself to be mentally unstable, made threatening statements and shouldn't have had access to a gun. So how do you do it? How could the family or society prevent him from getting a gun? How do you implement that without infringing on a normal person's rights? Everything has a solution. No - most everyone has said that he has proven himself so mentally unstable that he shouldn't have been free to roam around in public at all. You can't solve the problem by restricting everyone's rights, but you can solve it by removing the crazies from society. I don't think that's a very intelligent statement. If you have a sprained knee and trouble walking, does it mean your injury should qualify you for a hospital stay until you're able to walk normally? Or does the doctor send you home with restrictions of what you can and can't do? But at least you're proposing a solution to lock anyone up who's deemed nuts and a danger. If that's the case, what's the criteria to have him removed from society? What's the criteria for how long, who funds it? That's not the dumbest analogy you could make, but it's close. And analogies are not as useful as you think. Card was known to be off his rocker and should have been institutionalized - period. The fact that apparently no one who could have persued the legal means of putting him in the nuthouse is part of the problem. Now he's dead, so he won't be doing that again. And as someone else already alluded, the most expedient and cost effective solution is for those who can be legally armed to quit acting like sheep.
Lunatic fringe....we all know you're out there.
