Got to thinking with the fighting gun thread going.
Time for a good gun belt to carry either a S&W 36 or a Springfield XD(M) 4.5".
OWB in winter and cooler weather as I am generally in a flannel of maybe a zip up hoodie.
What say the fire?
One buckle system far superior to another??
Leather or nylon?
Maybe extra mags on the hip when carrying the SA.

Better Belt USA. Nylon 66 stiffened leather, double stitched, completely custom to what you require if you go leather. If they don't have an option you want, call them and they'll fix one up for you.
Nylon belt, I can't recommend anything beyond G Code or Blackhawk Riggers belts.
My EDC with all my stuff on it is from Better Belt USA.

Nexbelt EDC ratchet belt. You won’t want to go back to a traditional belt after using one.

I have an ares gear for edc and a lead devil for work related activities. Both work. Choose what buckle system you want and go from there.

The KORE ratchet gun belts are very good. I have a couple of them and they carry my Lightweight Commander Dan Wesson 1911 .45 or one of my compact 9mm striker-fired guns and an extra magazine easily. The Wilderness 5 stitch belts are good also. In leather, it would be hard to beat a Milt Sparks belt. The Beltman makes a good leather belt also. In leather I like horsehide.

Hank's Belts are excellent quality, HOWEVER be advised they are about 1/4 inch thick. If that is not a problem, they are fine. I wore one for several months with no problems. Recently, I decided to start carrying a larger pistol which required a different holster. The original holster mentioned here was a DeSantis IWB model with a belt clip which worked fine. The next holster was a 1791 Gunleather holster for IWB carry, an excellent holster. To my surprise, the belt clip on this holster does not have enough "clip room" to clip over the super thick Hank's Belt. I contacted 1791 Gunleather and they do not offer another size holster clip. My solution was to order a 1791 Gunleather belt, which is thinner, but very substantial, to support my S&W M&P .45 ACP. If the 1/4 inch thickness is not an issue for you, either one of these will work very well for you. Both come with a quality nickle plated roller buckle which is secured with removable Chicago screws. Both Hank's Belts and 1791 Gunleather sell direct online. Hope this helps.

I have a Hanks Belt and a Kore. I like both but the ratchet system on the Kore belt is convenient.

I like Hank's 'The Enforcer'. Supports holster and 5" 1911 comfortably without sagging.

Nexbelt EDC ratchet belt. You won’t want to go back to a traditional belt after using one. Until they crack and break. Maybe just a fluke of the one i had. Check out crossbreed-seconds.com. It’s Crossbreed Belts are are returned after the 2 week trial. Most are $35.

Kore Essentials is all I use now. I have one for dress clothes, and a nylon one for EDC. 1/4” click adjustment ensures perfect fit.

I have two Blackhawk leather belts that do a great job for me. I carry a SIG P365 and a spare mag or a S&W M&P 2.0 full size 9mm and a spare 17 round mag and the belts never sag.

Has anyone tried a Vedder belts? No on the belt, but their holsters are very good.
