Anyone using Waterlox finishes on rifle stocks? I just installed butcher block wood countertops and island for my daughter and built her a side table with the left overs. I used waterlox to finish them and it leaves a very tough finish. I see wood turners using it to finish their projects including, to be used salad bowls.

Thanks

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Waterloo is just a brand with many models. If you are talking about their butcherblock counter finish, It would be far from my first choice. It does not get as hard as other oil-resin finishes and does not polish up like similar finishes, IME.
