This actually hurts a little to post as I love these older shorter barreled Husky's with the Schnabel foreends. If it was a 6.5x55 or I didn't already own several good shooting .30-06s this would be staying here.
It is stamped "Husqvarna Vapenfabriks A.B. .30-06 U.S. Imperial". Some obvious cosmetic wear as shown in the pics. Seems to be mechanically solid and will gladly test fire if someone wants me too prior to purchase. It is wearing an older Vari-X III 2.5-8x36 Leupold Matte with click adjustments. I will break them up but prefer to sell the rifle first before selling the scope. I picked this up in an estate collection so don't have much history. Rifling looks good. Crown looks good. Barrel is between 20" and 21".

Every husky small ring I have owned, which is way to many btw, have barrels that are as well cut/polished as most custom barrels I have seen when looking through a bore scope and all have been good shooters.
Ad somewhere there is a guy dropping 15-1800 on some 6.5 wizzed something And these rifles are wonderful bargains Probably weigh around 7 lbs ready to hunt
I gave my youngest son this exact rifle but in 270 last year. And he got his first buck with it during the next hunting trip.
I think these are high quality and high class firearms. Very accurate, light and handy.
I would put them on par in classiness with Win pre-64 featherweights, Remington 725s, and Browning Safaris.
If someone has a son or grandson that could use a classic and extremely accurate and handy rifle, here you go!!
