Looking for opinions on a lightweight hunting scope. This will be mounted on a Rem Model Seven in .243, used a couple times a year for hunting a couple more for bench. Occasional walk and when the mood strikes to grab vs. other options.
Coyotes and varmints only, under 300 yards (more than likely under 50 in Northern MN). Would like to stay $500 or less on budget. Nothing messy on the reticle.
I have multiple 2-7, 2.5-8, 3-9, 2-10, 2.5-10, 3.5-10, 4.5-14 etc. in Leupold and a few in Burris. Just thought I would see if anyone else has a good option. Thank you, opinions are great and if you have one for sale even better.
Thanks, Kyle.
My Model 7, a .358, has a 3-10x42 Swaro AV on it. Pretty much the same as the newer Z3 I believe. It’s light, the eye relief is about perfect for a M7, to me anyway, and it’s killer in low light.
