I heard time and time again on this board and elsewhere on the internet that this season was doomed due to winter kill. 100% mortality some were swearing by.

Everybody I have talked to in WY has said they're seeing just as many critters this year as last, and quality too. No different than after the tough winter of 2016/2017.

Bump to the top....I'd be setting wolverine drive traps tomorrow but decided to elk hunt late this year and am headed out tomorrow, so I guess my trapping season will get cut short this year. No biggie.

Really depends. The red desert pronghorn and deer are the chittiest I've seen since I moved here. I have no doubt those herds are down 75%...it's sad.
