I have a hunt coming up and I haven’t shot the 7mm Mashburn Super for about 2-1/2 years. Went to the range to check zero.
It has a Mark 5 7-35x HD on it.
Damn thing shot a 1/2” group which included the cold bore and was still zeroed. Took 2 shots at the 785 10” plate which impacted about 2” from each other windage wise with no vertical
Only 4.2 mils come up from a 100 yard zero with the 195 EOL moving at 2965

For what those cost they ought to track right and give you a blow job too.

Rcmuglia: I just returned from a high country horse assisted Elk Hunt! Four VERY experienced Elk Hunters were along and we brought to bag three Bull Elk under trying conditions. Three of the four "magnum" Rifles along on the Hunt were topped with LEUPOLD variable scopes! The fourth scope was a "Huskemaw". My sight in shots were in the exact same spot (2" high at 100 yards) that it has been set for over the last 6 years (no change of elevation or windage needed during that time!) and over that time the Rifle and Leupold 3.5x10 A/O has been on NUMEROUS Elk and Bear Hunts. Notice to all - beware of Leupold "naysayers" they are so very often full ofshit. Long live Leupold & Stevens Corporation - a fine American Company! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Sticky is about to have a vein pop out on his forehead from the frantic typing.
He's "never had one that didn't fail" A.operator error and abuse or B. He is delusional and full of schitt
He just won't admit that his choice of scopes also fail and are like looking through a fishbowl.
Ya!

You think that is bad, I just used a Vortex to take my bull this year!

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

😁 Glad the old Mashburn is getting out in the field! Good luck out there! Mine took three elk a few weeks back in Wyoming, 605, 595 and 490. One shot a piece. The old girl still gets it done.

😁 Might be a clue there… Pound on that thing every week for a year and get back to us. That would be impressive.

Funny how the goalpost always moves for Leupold. BTW, I have plenty that get flogged upon and act the same. Even the models I paid 400$ for 😉

I just checked my Marlin .30-30 and Ruger M77 .30-06 for the upcoming deer season. The .30-30 still wears a vari-x II 1-4x20 and the .30-06 a lowly vx-1 3-9x40. .30-30 still centered dead on at 100 three shots in 3/4". The .30-06 put 3 in a neat 5/8" triangle centered 2" high. Both right where I left them last season. If you need better than that to kill deer around here you suck and should probably take up golf or knitting or something. Oh and as far as needing better low light performance, the deer are out there all day long. If you need to shoot the fuggin things in the dark to succeed you suck.

Sure are a lot of happy customers out there for them to be total pieces of junk. I've been a very satisfied customer for over 20 years. Maybe one day I'll get my hands on a good optic.

😁 Yeah, well, until you beat salmon over the head with it or intentionally drop it from multiple heights and angles, it's not properly vetted and just a failure waiting to happen.
