I couldn’t tell ya what it’s worth but my 05’ SR5 6 cylinder has been by far the most reliable vehicle that I’ve owned. It also had the frame replaced under warranty. 300k miles and still trucking along.

Probably somewhere between $10-20K depending on condition, location, and present buyers.

Tacoma's aren't on every car lot. Most people that have them don't want to sell them. I bought an 08 4door, 4x4 with low miles 4 years ago and paid $14 grand for it. Maybe I over paid, maybe not??? Its my daily driver and still going strong. They bring good money.

Based on new truck costs... and all the BS they have on them...
$55k would probably be a pretty quick sale.

Kelley Blue Book or the NADA value book are the best guide I know of. Run the numbers there and it will give you a really good idea. Good Luck, Rick

Forget appraisal sites, not regionally accurate....cruise craigslist for a couple weeks, note pricing for similar models and note how long the ads are up.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Probably somewhere between $10-20K depending on condition, location, and present buyers. Agree... all joking aside about the $55k above... HUGE MARKET for that truck... it is absolutely going up in value because of it's simplicity vs. modern over-priced models.

The used Tacoma buyers aren't good at math. https://www.markmillertoyota.com/viewdetails/New/3TYSX5EN2PT44D451/2023-Toyota-Tacoma-4D-Access-Cab

Real would availability (vs. web site) should be vetted. It took me 23 months to actually get a base model Tundra. Just saying...

That dealer is getting that truck. I talked to the dealer last week and they would hold it for me with a $500 deposit. That is excellent... When my dealer called me in August on my Tundra... he said three were coming in 4 weeks (I was first on the list because I had been waiting 23 months with a $1k deposit)... I had three choices on color white, silver or dark silver (or whatever). I picked the silver one because it happened to have the tow package already installed. 30 minutes later, I called him back to switch to white (I would add my own tow package). He told me sorry, but the other two trucks were already sold.

Cash; Good morning my cyber friend, I hope that the day is behaving in all ways and that you're all well, warm and dry out there.
A couple of quick local Toyota dealership stories for the edification of the gentle readers and all that.
Friends of ours who live across the gully and are Toyota folks decided to order a 2024 Tacoma. The wife is currently in a fairly new 4 Runner and he's got a 10ish year old Tacoma now.
The dealer took something like $500 down, said they'd call when it arrived and no, they had no idea when that'd be.
The salesman commented that the days of coming in to see an actual model of what one wanted to purchase might be coming to a close, since they were moving everything faster than they could bring it in.
As mentioned here before, the brains of the outfit at our house decided she wanted to order a new SUV before she retired and after doing her research bought a 2019 Rav4 Hybrid.
Even back then in the pre-beer flu days, the dealer wasn't super sure when they'd be getting it in. I want to say we ordered it in spring and it showed up at the beginning of hunting season so September.
Part of her wanting one was that a coworker had an older one and loved it.
After my wife got her's, the coworker put in an order for a replacement, unfortunately in the middle of said beer-flu. She cancelled that order after 18 months, but had her name kept on a list for whatever new Rav4 the dealer might be able to find.
She got one finally, not too, too far from what she'd wanted as it turned out, but that's that.
We're currently looking for an SUV for our youngest, likely a Rav4 but AWD Toyota hopefully and the market up here for them used is pretty sobering to say the least.
Strange days indeed Cash.
All the best and good hunting.
Dwayne
