Was keen on this scope but they were hard to find, found one available new, but for 3 grand seems exorbitant, any suggestions for something similar or is it worth to stick with this. It’s for a tikka 223 long range practice and also shooting foxes and cats Cheers Matt

Holy cow. If you can get ahold of one over there, grab an SWFA fixed 10x and call it a day!

Holy cow. If you can get ahold of one over there, grab an SWFA fixed 10x and call it a day! This. These SWFA fixed scopes are bombproof and 1/10 the price. Of course the glass is sub-par to S&B, but it is pretty decent for the money. I’d at least try one before I dropped 3 grand on the S&B.

The Schit & Blender has wayyyyyyyyyyy less erector travel,no parallax adjustment and a vastly inferior reticle,in direct comparison to the SWFA 10x MQ(whether rear or side focus). Hint...........

To expand on the above chorus, SWFA 10x is the way to go.
If you're a glass snob you can get the HD model which is supposedly much better, but I've never handled that exact scope. My 3-9HD is pretty dang good though.
You'll still have plenty of money to burn a hole in your pocket with the SWFA 10HD.

Cheers for the replies, sounds like the SWFA is the way to go, I’ll see if I can track one down.

$3k in Aussie land I'm guessing. Mine still get used, regardless of how schitty others think they are.
