Well, our 2023 Frigid Fall Fclass is in the books!
Snow storm prevented a lot from coming up from the south among other things. Super small crowd, but a lot of fun despite the wind and snow!

This was the short leg, 300 and 500 meters.

Our longs ( 600 and 900 meter )were shot out of our tower
We had a total of ten shooters with myself being the lone 'slinger ( get lumped into the FTR guys)
My mouse gun didn't do as well as normal the other day, and I DNF'd my final relay , but it was still a hoot!

Cat, when I started reading this I was concerned you had gone to the dark side... keep the faith. 👍

PS, I won't complain about shooting in the cold anymore.

Magazine problems are not an issue shooting Fclass or TR - they are not allowed, single feed only. Trigger finger going numb in the really cold temps is however! LOL

So true about the trigger finger. The evening of the last Southwest Nationals team match (Palma day) I bumped up the second stage pull weight on my rifle. That morning it had been cold enough to lose the feel of the "wall" . The temp was only in the 30s, but winds at 20+ mph. Haven't lowered it back down, good lesson learned.
