I may get upset by Lisa, but I’m not going to prison over it.

"Graham wrote that he was facing eviction and said that he had “nowhere else to live,”
according to court documents.
He wrote that he would “hunt” the senator down and physically harm her, according to court documents."

Just looking for five years of three hots and a cot.

This, perhaps.

That's pretty much it. He even chose his jurisdiction well, federal over state. He'll get no good time, no early release. He'll serve every minute of his jail sentence. In addition to being warm, he'll eat better than the drug addicts and mentally ill freezing on the streets, too.

Jesse Lee Jones just murdered an apartment complex manager upon learning that he was going to be evicted. Looks like Graham took the better option.

Very true, in fact I watched a documentary about what a pathetic, corrupt and ineffective waste of money our prisons are. Not only will he get 3 hot meals and a warm bed with cable TV and hot showers but unlike the zombie eyed drug addicts on our streets that have to scratch out their own “existence” the inmates can still get the drugs they want and can still abuse narcotics from the warmth and comfort of their own cells. The documentary noted that while 70- 80% of the new inmates are already substance abusers and addicts BUT of the 20-30% that aren’t addicts at the time of intake the odds are that they WILL develop addiction problems while they are incarcerated!

That simple fact…if you get a long prison sentence and are NOT a drug addict when you are sentenced the odds a great that you’ll develop an addiction in PRISON!…..and some people think that The War on Drugs just needs to be fought harder. If we can’t stop the illicit drug trade in maximum security prisons…if you’re just as likely to develop addictions in prison as you are on the streets then how in the hell do we stop it in a free society?

So, how exactly do the prisoners get such easy access to the "stuff". Is this a side hustle for the correctional officers (making some serious coin in the first place - I've known a few) who look the other way for an "import fee"?
