Been that way for hundreds of years - why change something? that has worked for that long? Giving in to idiots and whiners. Open your doors at 7, or 8, or 9 - it doesn't matter that much! Me too. Either way I'm at work in the dark, it's nice to have some daylight in the afternoon. Always used to hear a concern for kids going to school in the dark. For some reason that has went away. Some kids here are catching buses at 645. No matter what time you use, it's dark at 645. Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
