Far-left Judge Arthur Engoron gagged President Trump’s lawyers on Friday and threatened serious sanctions in Letitia James’ civil fraud case against Trump.

Engoron expanded his gag order to Trump’s lawyers because he is being flooded with threats of violence ‘resulting from heated political rhetoric.

“The threat of, and actual, violence resulting from heated political rhetoric is well-documented,” Engoron wrote, according to The Messenger. “Since the commencement of this bench trial, my chambers have been inundated with hundreds of harassing and threatening phone calls, voicemails, emails, letters, and packages. The First Amendment right of defendants and their attorneys to comment on my staff is far and away outweighed by the need to protect them from threats and physical harm.”

Last month Engoron fined President Trump $5,000 for ‘violating’ his gag order.

Last week Judge Engoron put Trump on the witness stand after he blasted the former president and accused him of violating the gag order with his remarks to the press. He also fined Trump $10,000.

Trump and his lawyers have been gagged, but the rest of the sane half of the country has not. Seems like it would be easy enough for every social media account with more than a few followers to guess what Trump might say about the judge and his case and say it on Trump’s behalf.

If there was any justice in this country, the Judge would get sanctioned.

But of course. Trump must set precedent by going to jail.

The judge in the New York City case against Donald Trump and the Trump organization has transparently been a little goofy. From the first day when he posed for the cameras, to the sketchy application of legal review within the case, Judge Arthur Engoron exhibits the classic traits of being weird and unstable.

.... court clerk Allison Greenfield has been passing notes and instructions to Engoron as the case has progressed. The activity has become so disconcerting that Trump’s lawyers have called it out in court as it happens. In response to the sunlight upon the visible activity, Judge Engoron has now expanded his gag order to prohibit Trump’s lawyers from drawing attention to the activity of Ms. Greenfield.

The issuance of the gag order is weird because the entire dynamic of the clerk instructing the judge is weird. The gag order is an effort by Engoron to stop people from noticing it…. Yeah, that’s exponentially weirder.

...Engoron then expanded his court order to forbid the Trump lawyers from telling the public about what was happening between him and his clerk in the court.

I watched a movie not long ago, where the court clerk was passing instructions to the judge via her laptop to his, as he sat on the bench running the trial. One of the attorneys noticed, long story short, confronted the clerk and judge. Turns out, the Judge had dementia, and the clerk was trying to cover for him. Nice old guy, but fugd in the head. Her motive: to keep her job as long as possible. In this real life case, I think the motive is more sinister. The judge is getting instructions from The Swamp. This is going to blow-up BIG in their faces. Soon.
