Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession. Robert Kelley Weeks (1840-1876)

Just the rifle only, I couldnt find really any on GB . LazyL0228 what did it run you? I wish it was a 41mag stainless instead, just like the 41 caliber better.

There has been one listed on Rokslide for a long time. He is down to $1,475 and he has a lot of extras with it, and it has been sitting. The market is pretty soft right now for everything. Pretty wood on that one. If you decide to sell, please let me know.

Have one just like it myself... I wouldn't sell mine for $1400. It'll go to my boy 10 times over before I sell it for any price under 2k. In truth its never going to be for sale. Hands down my favorite. 44 that I own.

Ruger will 100% bring this model back out and when it does the prices will drop a bit. They already brought out the blued/walnut version
All Marlin .41 bring a huge premium
I would not attempt to re barrel this one.

Well let tell you a story about my 1894 SS. Was in the pawn shop one day in there a lot kid comes in maybe 25. Wanted to trade for an AR-15. My buddy traded him right out of that 44 and I bought it for 700.00 after it cleared. But that was a few years back. Will not sell it as none of my JM Marlins are for sell. GLWS

Some folks like the extras it has and some may not (if he doesn't have the original parts). Like others mentioned, Ruger has released the 1894 Classic in 44, so it's likely they'll have a stainless model release at some point.
