If you refer to the first post in this thread, you will see this pattern as a Lite Semi Skinner.

S35VN steel and approx. .100" thick stock.
Thanks
Tim

PS: I believe that colodog talked me out of that one. It was a first off that I was playing
with before making it a permanent pattern.

Hey Tim

What do you have planned for the 2024 build options?

I got my 2023 build bloody last weekend and it is sweet.

Thanks

Sent you a pm. I have a couple blades extra with this current grind/build.
Thanks
Tim

OK here are the latest two from Tim

[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

The one you inquired about Tim calls the "Lite Semi Skinner"

I am very impressed with it, to put it mildly, and expect it to get quite a bit of use in the future.

The second Tim calls the "Snub Nose"knife. I have not used it yet.

GW, those are beautiful and functional. Super nice. That snub nose will be a deer skinning assassin.

The three Olt's that I played with last weekend

All three are S35VN, and I like the "toothy" edge Tim achieves.

Used my Michigan slim and light semi skinner to gut, skin and debone a nice 8 pt. buck last weekend. Very pleased with performance! Sorry for no pics.

Used my MI slim on a buck and a doe the last few days. Did a wonderful job. Great pattern.

I like the looks of that lite semi skinner a lot

Thanks for the reports.
I have not yet had a chance to field test the Lite Semi Skinner but I figure it to do
multiple jobs very well.

Just what I was looking for to work in the nooks & crannies. Very happy with it.

Many Thanks,

Another thanks to Tim for his Lite Semi Skinner. I used this yesterday (11/20/23) to skin a whitetail. Brought a big smile to my face using this laser cutter. Knife is bottom one in pic.
