I hve an FN A-5 (16 ga) that needs both a stock and forend. Will Sweet 16 wood fit, or are they different?
I have been told that wood from the Japanese guns will fit, but not line up wood to metal...
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Was told 16 and 20 ga wood on japs interchange. None availible from Browning. You might google Boyd's gun stocks a see what they can do for you..mb

I got my standard 16 gauge restocked by Midwest gun works, but that was many years ago. Like said above the Japanese stocks are just not as nice fitting as the original Belgium stocks, the wood sticks up above the metal all around the stock.
