Love my Swedes but just have too many and this one has never been hunted with so putting it out there if there's any interest. Selling it for what I have in it with the 1" Talleys.

Bought it new, scoped it and took to range once to dial in scope with factory 140 SSTs. Shot it 6 times total and grouped them inside 3/4".

Stock has zero scratches, chips, etc. Only mark I can find on metal is a very tiny mark at end of barrel.

$2350 for rifle and rings shipped. AK and HA shipping will be actual cost to ship. Scope not included.

I love Swedes too. This is a rifle worth having.

Does the safety lock the bolt handle down on a Barrett? (google did not help). Also what is the max OAL accommodated by the magazine?

Bolt does not lock with safe on, Max OAL 3.37in, yes 24 inch barrel. A least that's what mine in 6.5x55 measures.

The 6.5x55 is a good fit for the long action FC's mag box. Even with the shorter mag box, it still has room compared to some of the other long action cartridges. It's twisted for any of the longer bullets. I don't know how Barrett throated the 6.5x55's, but just looking at mechanics, it could be one of the best setups on the long action FC's.

For someone who likes the classic, and wants the performance of the current bullet options, this would be a good route.
