Does anyone know the height of the medium rings from the top of the receiver ring to the bottom of the scope tube? These are the 1” one piece ring/base combo. Thanks.

Their site should tell you for your specific rifle.

Ed, I need to know the height. If someone has that measurement I would appreciate it.

On their web site you have to click on the specific ring mount you are looking at then click on the specifications to give the ring height.

That is .97 inches to the center of the ring, so just deduct .5" off of that. Should put it at .47" to the bottom of the scope tube. This measurement is for a Model 700.
The backcountry mediums are about the equivalent of Talley Lightweight lows.

From the centerline of the ring to the base of the ring.

Thanks, is that the front or rear ring? Because the Talley lows are .400

pathfinder,
I would assume the front ring, like the Talley, because I can tell you from experience with both, the Leupold mediums and Talley lows are very close to same height.

I just mounted some of the Backcountry Ringmount Mediums on a Kimber 84M and I do not think they are quite as low as the Talley lows on my 84M. I did not measure them but the eyeball test says they are not as low as the Talley but not too far off.

I will say I do not like the overhang on the rear mount on the Leupold but I am going to use them for a while and test them out. I have always ran Talley's on my Kimber's.
