Ever since I got my new pc and loaded windows 11 I swear the spell check goes out of its way to avoid offering any worthwhile correction. Call me paranoid but is it beyond the pale to think MS is using AI to flip off folks on conservative sites with this? I would say I am only half serious....but that means I am halfway serious.

Using Windows was your choice. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OP you should be full serious, but it’s not MS alone as they don’t own all the browsers. Browser incorporation definitely skews the results.

I know I can disable or pay for an alternative. My point was the default checker seems purposely inadequate. Given the increase in AI and other technologies and couple that with the way I now view dang near everything is marketing, a lie, or an agenda thrown at us I was thinking I wasn't alone on the spell checker thing.

Windows 11 spell check will integrate with chrome based browsers mainly designed for Edge. However you must actually enable it. Problem being that as stated all browsers have their own spell check built in that isn’t quite as powerful or so they say. Problem really lies in the fact that Google who pays out billions per year to have it search/spell check results come up first is AI generated. So whether using duck duck go, Mozilla, edge or whatever browser in Windows the search and spell check functions all use AI generated results. It’s part of the plan to eliminate knowledge that the left deems non DEI or hazardous to the agenda.
