I don't feel sorry for FSU one little bit. They could have joined the SEC when they had the chance. But noooo, we gonna stick it to these east coast teams and try and look tuff doin' it.
Strength of schedule matters.
Laffin here... No . UF protested loudly at the time and would do it again. Your team does not belong. There is no possible reasoning behind an Alabama team that lost at home to Texas by two possessions, struggled with South Florida on the road with a backup quarterback, narrowly beat Texas A&M and Arkansas, and needed a 4th & 31 to beat Auburn on the road. I have very little respect for Bama fans, the feeling is mutual. I wasn't making excuses for Bama, just pointing out the fact that FSU has a patsy schedule by their own design. Frankly there are several 2 loss teams that would smash FSU. That's not the fault of talkin' heads at ESPN. Their own design? Did you see the SOS of the teams that are in the playoffs? Have you seen them?, Bama #5 SOS in country . One loss team that has not looked good in a lot of games. What about Michigan,Washington,Texas? Google is your friend: Bama #5 Mich #26 Wash #46 Texs # 13 FSU # 55 Again, Sagarin ranking are used by the CFB committee . Unless you are googling his website you are not getting his data.

You barely beat Auburn who the previous week was destroyed by New Mexico State. You had to headhunt Jayden Daniels just to win the LSU game. We had a more convincing win over LSU than Bama did. I did still don't care about it because your Acc and were Sec. We lost to a good Texas team whose coming to the Sec along with Oklahoma. Since your better at numbers than I am how many Titles does the Acc have and the Sec have? Be sure and Count OU and UTw(that's what we call Texas to avoid confusion with Tenny.) Haven't looked it up myself I bet the Sec has more as in "It just means more." I know your 13-0 earned you a #5 spot and our 12-1 earned us #4 your out we're in.

Would love to see WA win it all, but doubt they do. Not sure what else FSU can do. They play two SEC non conference games which is more than anyone else did. Bama beat my pathetic Hogs by 3 at home. A real powerhouse this year. If only the ACC could afford to decline all bowl bids and tell the NCAA to [bleep] off.
The funny thing is Michigan’s wins will be vacated next year so it really doesn’t matter if they are in or not.
Georgia was penalized more for losing to Alabama than TX was for losing to Oklahoma. Explain that?

MM I guess the selection committee didn't get the memo I didn’t think they would make it either but Urban Meyer called it last night. Said there was no way Alabama gets in without Texas getting in. I still think Georgia is a better team than Texas but I missed the selection committee’s call when they were soliciting my opinion.

I think Washington and Bama are the 2 best out of the four chosen. I think GA is better than TX but the SEC championship game is brutal, it guarantees that a marquee team will lose their last game. Bad timing for GA
