Testing the waters here. WTB Junke Saturn Rifle made by Junke brothers in Reno NV. Any caliber, but prefer one of the ICL Magnums. ( I don't know whether they made any in standard calibers) Long shot but tell me what you have.

Grew up in Reno NV and as kids we'd ride our bikes down to the Junke brothers shop and ask stupid questions. It seems like they always had 40 or so rifles in stock and they made me drool, so pretty! The brothers were always nice to us and answered our inquires knowing that a bunch of 12 year old kids weren't serious buyers. Always promised myself that one day I'd own one. Hope it's not to late. I'll keep looking. Hunting Mule deer here in the sage hills of Nevada with a Saturn rifle would punch a spot on my bucket list! Just a little piece of history.

I have a Saturn 375 ICL built on a FN action. Not sure I would want to part with it, but have not shot it yet either. Beautiful rifle though. Also have company brochure in my files.

Like the 140 lb buffalo hunters who packed a 12-16 pound Sharps rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition?

I know this thread is a little old but I just picked up an old Saturn barrel in 6mm ICL came with the Saturn article about the different rounds as well. I look forward to getting it on an action and trying it out.

Search may be easier if you spell his name correctly...Vern Juenke.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

I have a 270 ICL built by Vern Juenke in Reno NV. I think it was built in the 50’s or 60’s maybe?
It shoots factory 270 win ammo. Very accurate gun, beautiful wood.
