Anybody have any ideas why? They are 6-4 so far and pounded Mississippi State yesterday. $75 million buyout. Something must be going on behind the scenes.

Anybody have any ideas why? Maybe this ~ The Jimbo Fisher era at Texas A&M: - 0 National Titles - 0 Conference Titles - 0 Division Titles - 0 10-win Seasons - 0 wins vs ranked opponents on the road - 0 ranked finishes in last 4 full seasons - Worse record than Kevin Sumlin

I'm not a Texas A&M fan but the answer is simple: he has been paid a fortune to win games and the results he has produced are mediocre at best. The economics of it are absurd with the payout but they are tired of losing.

Doubt it’s anything more than wins and losses.
They’ve been around the .500 mark in the SEC the last three years. The university and its boosters have sunk a lot of capital into the program, and they’ve had either the top or one of the top recruiting classes the last three years.

Their main problem is that they joined the SEC and against those teams they are only mediocre at best….

In Jimbos case being stubborn, unwillinging to adapt, lazy ,complacent not to mention low integrity has its perks. He will have generational wealth.
