I have a few game cam pics of this buck. He survived opening weekend. I think this is the biggest buck I've ever captured on a game cam pic. I'm going to focus hunting in my little backyard 27 acre woodlot and see if I might get lucky.

From last week. No feeders around unless you count bird feeders and gardens.

I probably wouldn't wander too far from home (to hunt) if he was slinking around.

Neither of those bucks would be walking away from my blind or tree stand and that's a fact. Good luck gents, looking forward to seeing them on the ground with a bleeding nose.

That has been my observation as well, the best bucks live in the suburbs. When I was hunting the nw part of the state, the smart deer weren’t running the gauntlet with the bow and gun hunters during the season or fleeing from the wolves in the big woods the rest of the year. They were in the protected areas around town where hunting wasn’t allowed and the predators didn’t go. My buddy paid lots of money for a tree for his yard and was wild when the backyard buck rubbed the bark off it.
My other auto is a .45
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory
