Looks like that Elk showed you a good time. I’m proud for you. Reloder28 - it was a good day, all said. I’ll be 71 in a couple of months and I try real hard not to kill elk in stupid places, and this one was way better than most. I was able to get close with my quad and drag him down to a road. Then a pal answered my call and loaded him whole in my utility trailer with his well drilling equipment. Good job blacktail. Must be southwest Oregon? Nice bull. As we know, bulls in some Oregon units are hard to get. I consider anything a trophy. I wish I could have hunted this year!!!

Looks like a healthy bull. How are the steaks? I honestly don't know.... I still have a lot of elk meat in the freezer from last years cow elk - so, I gave this bull to family. I haven't gotten any feedback yet.
