I will be buying one for sure. But, which exact model depends on what chamberings they have with a blued, Walnut stocked rifle. I also want as light a rifle as they make consistent with the above requirement. I could live with a 250 Sav, a 257 Roberts, a 7x57, or a 7-08, in that order of preference. My days of bigger boomers are over.

I'll wait and see what the quality is like. But if they live up to the expectations, I'll be buying a SS Model 70 in either 270 or 30-06.

I will buy some of the new lefties as soon as they are available!! Same here. Me too, I really hope for a left-handed featherweight in standard calibers this time. Doc

How many of you plan on getting one as soon as they are available, despite the cost? Absolutely NOT!

I want to get a one in 30-06. I generally allow myself one stock factory rifle to experiment with per year, and this is the one I've decided to go with as soon as I can get my hands on a suitable specimen. In the real world, the projected cost of these new M70s is quite reasonable.............

I would like to have a one in the featherweight 270 in left hand. But I'm not going to wait 2 or 3 years for them to come out with the southpaw version. I had ordered 2 of the LH featherwieghts when the short mags came out and after waiting 9 months I finally called Browning and they shipped me 2 rifles from the factory direct to my dealer.

I was going to get a stainless 30-06, but I have purchased two Ruger Mark lls (7MM and .350 Rem. mag.) in the last few months. And, I really want to put a new stainless Ruger .338 RCM through its paces as soon as one is available. By the time I get these three rifles tuned-up and shooting to my standards, you guys will have posted complete critiques of the new Model 70 that will help me decide how badly I want one. CP.

I already have 4 mid-late 90's Classic's, plus a couple push feed Model 70's. The Classics include a stainless walnut Featherweight in 308, and a stainless walnut Sporter in '06. These are my dream rifles and I alredy have them, so probably won't be in the market for any more, unless........

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

I really want a stainless 9.3x62.
Figure the odds, right?

Like many I missed a chance at a nice 270 featherweight once and have hated myself for not buying it. I have a 1/2 MOA Weatherby Mark V in .270 but if I could get a SS featherweight in .270 Win with some nice wood, like a complete fool I would consider trading the Weatherby....why I just don't know why other than some weird nostalgia..
