This guy has been hanging around the house harassing the does.

Season opens Monday. According to my youngest, he won’t live to see the sunset on the season opener.

Thought you guys might appreciate the uniqueness of his rack.

Please forgive the garbage cell phone photos. I snapped these this morning at 6:25AM going down my driveway to work.

Made me think of a 3 year old buck I shot with two 13” spikes. Good sturdy deer but not as impressive as this one.

Hopefully you are successful!

My son killed one with a similar anomaly this week.

Personally I would be doing cartwheels if I shot one like that Non-Typical Stud, congrats to your son smile

Looks like an Alberta Deer to me.

I shot a white tail years ago that was normal on one side of his rack but had a single hooked spike horn on the other. When cutting it up I noticed one rear leg was smaller than the other. Nothing else, just smaller. A few months later I read a blurb that deer sometimes will grow a weird horn on the opposite side of an injury which lined up with what I found in mine.

Don't know if it's true. Never read it again or looked into it further.
