Need a large BC stock to sporterize an old M660 bench rest gun. Thing shoots and would be a great truck gun with a sporter/varmint stock….

have gotten 2 from this company, one LH 788 sporter, and a LH 700 LA varminter.

a couple made by Joel Russo of Harrisburg PA, he can make anything, a walnut replica of a mcbros A3-5 and a A5 in laminate

Did you try the Boyd’s Stocks site to see what they can build?

I have a camo finish Bell and Carson for my 600

I had one years ago that I put a varmint contour barrel on and I did a WTB that got me a really beat up 600 stock. I cut the barrel to 20" opened up the barrel channel, bedded the action and it made a really handy truck gun.
Oh yeah - I spray painted the stock in a flat black to cover up some of the damage it had.

I’m assuming the M7 is different also? Only can use a 600/660?

Brown precision use to make a 600/660 stock, I have an old factory stock someplace.

Ahlman's lists a fully finished M600/660 stock, though not sure from the pics if the forend has enough meat to accommodate your barrel. Looks similar to a Boyd's, though perhaps they make them in-house. Link:

If Boyd's will make one, that would seem the simplest option.

Look anything like this one? It's my M600 beater, having had about a half dozen different barrels over 30+ years. Been wondering who made the stock.

I have a stock that might work for you, it might be a Richards Micro-Fit. It came to me attached to a rifle that I bought for the donor action back in 2007. I don't remember much about the stock, other than it was set up as a single shot with a heavier contour barrel in 6BR REM. I do remember that it isn't inletted for the nylon Remington 600/660 trigger guard assembly, but don't recall what trigger guard it is inletted for.

This would be perfect….
