It's definitely reblued, and I'd say the stock finish isn't original either.

Oh geez every bit of that 99 I can see is “custom.” The bluing on the receiver, trigger and lever. The finish on the stock. And, not to forget, the “hammer forged” tang sight! I say that because the guy had to pound the curve in the sight flat to make it conform with fitting on backwards. We, not flat, but certainly flatter than factory original.

I've seen them mounted backwards, and they didn't look any worse than that one. The custom base for the Fecker on my 1902 engraved rifle is a Lyman mounted backwards. Of course it has the post removed, and a little milling done to it.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.
