I was at an auction they had 303 ammo and it was cheap. Don't know about your gun but someone will.

It is too bad the forearm wood has been cut down. That is really going to hurt the value but then again, I am not a military collector either.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

The sporterization job will put it squarely in shooter grade. Great old rifle, but ammo will be drying up for it as most manufacturers have ceased 303 British production. Excellent looking bore. Most sporter jobs reduce the value by at least half of the value of an unaltered specimen. M1903 Springfields are a good example of this. Sporter Springfields are in the $500, $700 if exceptional. Unaltered Springfields are $1200 - $1500 on up to $2500 for unique ones

Mil-surps are my thing.
German rifles, American rifles and now French and Japanese rifles are shooting up in value. British have stayed relatively flat.
300 or so for this cut down rifle is correct.

300 or so for this cut down rifle is correct. Yep. Only the originals bring full value. They are still fun to shoot, though. My little brother still shoots hogs with GrandDad’s old sporterized model that Mom & her sister ordered him through a catalog in the 60’s, for a Christmas present.

Stock has been sporterized, but they did a nice job of it. The original barrel has not been cut. It's still intact with bayonet lug. Does $350 sound about right with leather sling and a box of SP BT 150gr ammo???

I would personally think 350 is doable for that combination and should get it sold.

Sporterized, $300 right now...and that might even be a challenge. They are really tough sells in the current market.

The Enfield is SPF for $350 to TexasShooter.

I believe the enfield and it’s multiple variants is second only to the AK’s in overall total production numbers. Lots of them around. $300 seems pretty reasonable for one that has been sporterized.

Long Branch is Canadian IIRC. Good knock-around piece, but I wouldn’t pay much for it as these days there are so many cheap good shooters being made, and that use easy-to-get ammo, and are easy to scope.
Now that you have it, at least shoot the dang thing.
