Going through my safes and selling some rifles excess to my needs or duplicates. I don't know much about this rifle, sighted it in and shot 1 group with it with a load from a different rifle. Shot at 100 yards. Barrel markings are on the underside, at about the 8 o'clock position. Thumbnail in my 2nd post shows it. Asking $600 plus shipping for the gun and base. If you want the rings/scope with it, I'd like another $450. Scope is a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20 with a fine duplex reticle. I plan on removing the stock and wrapping the barreled action and stock in lots of foam, then shipping it in a sturdy box. Private party to FFL, I'll include a copy of my drivers license. My BVSS 22-250 did this. So totally boring and ez. $600 accuracy bargain in today's world for certain.

I’d buy this just for the stock if I was still into Savages. These prone style savage stocks are the bomb.

Damn brings back the old times for me had the same rifle loooong time ago when I lived in Pa. I could not tell you how many ground hogs I killed with it few hundred I would imagine, out to 600yds easy money, man I
wish I could figure out what to do with this.
