Any ideas what it might be? An 1899, 99, something else?

That sounds like a needle in a haystack. But worth looking.

How do you know # XPAN #1 exists?

I could be wrong, but didn't 260Remguy have knowledge and/or a list of the R&D items sold years ago?

Didn’t RAS have some sort of R&D gun a while ago?

I don't have anything on it.

Is that a serial or a marking?

THE ONE PIECE stock prototype serial # is S7427. At least that's the only # I can find on it.

Wasn’t that an R&D 284?

FUG1899,

Over the years I've seen some very nice pieces you have in your collection and have seen references to your collection. I am unable to find a thread that has a lot of details though. Is there one around I just wasn't able to find, specifically lever guns?

Is it one of the ones Ralph had with the wider stocks & with no narrowing at the rear of the receiver? I think he said he had three of those once.

ADDED - I think if one of those were on a table I would walk by it even though I know about them!
