The 1st Thanksgiving happened in 1621. Common Course (the system of collective ownership the Plymouth Colony stated with) wasn't ended until 1623. In other words, the 1st Thanksgiving had nothing to do with the abandoning of collective ownership, as that happened two years after the celebration.)
