I need some basic waterfowl guidance on an area around St Paul. Never been to NE before and don't know much... Planning on just riding and glassing.

Only one in that area is North Loop WMA , Davis Creek Recreation Area south of Ord and Sherman Reservoir to the west. 98% of the land around St. Paul and the north loop river is private. The link is to the public access map. https://outdoornebraska.maps.arcgis...html?id=71a515acd7f64a5d8245ec97eb96d976Good luck

Hunting... thanks Swifty52. I plan on knocking on doors... I'm used to getting turned down so there's that.

Thanks... I'm already excited and if I don't shoot the gun, I'm still going to see some beautiful country that I haven't seen before. I'm driving from SC with my lab so the conversation will be stimulating, I'm sure... lol
I've been driving up to NoDak for the lat 25 years and just wanted something different this year. None of my usual NoDak crew can go this year.

Word of warning, don’t know about the loop but the platte from GI east was dry again this year till last month. In the 3rd year of drought here mid state. Warmer than usual temps, no snow and very little duck or goose activity in my area. Sherman might be your best bet as it is big 2800 acre lake 4700+ acres of ground.

The Rainwater Basin south and west of Kearney had some pretty good teal hunting earlier this fall. The Funk area has some really good area … if they aren’t dried up. Not too far from Sherman area . Best of luck!
