I was perusing Tikka's rifles (always looking for stuff for myself during the holidays) and noticed all their .30 cal offerings (.308, '06, 300 WSM & WM) are now 1:10" twist. Seems like they'd always been 1:11" forever. Tikka saw the light. This must have just changed in the last year or so.

That seems like a good call. They are slowly coming around to modern twist rates for newer bullets it seems.

The 300 WM had been 1:10 twist for a little while now. I was just looking at the Tikka website last week and still saw 1:11 on .308 and .30-06. I didn’t bother to lol at .300 WSM as mine shoots 180’s great.
Edit: they are indeed 1:10 on the website now. I figured it was a matter of time. I’m thinking really hard about a 1:8 twist .243.

308's are forgiving twist-wise. A 1-11" is ideal in the 308 Win, but 1-10" is "better" for the 300's.
