I have a real nice Remington mtn rifle chambered in 280 for trade. This is a ss rifle with the black stock with webbing. I’m not the first owner but i believe it hasn’t been shot much at all. I’ve shot 5, 5 shot groups with it and all measured about an inch.
My interest are lightweight hunting rifles. If you have something in that category and is roughly at the valve of a mtn rifle please let me know what you have. I’m guessing that the mtn rifle is worth approximately $1200 so that will put us in the same ballpark.

How light are you looking to go? Is the mnt rifle not light enough or are you just looking for something different?

Smaller or larger caliber? 280 sits perfectly right in the middle.

I’m not into magnums of any sort. I would settle for another 7mm 30cal 6mm 6.5 something in those lines.

I’m honestly not sure. Is there a way of telling?

They changed to RR on the last Mountain Rifle run. The American Wilderness stainless were also RR.
