They should just offer 50% on all items, one day only, no backorders, to piss people off even more of their half assed slipshod operation.

Maybe they are just going to skip it this year. Nothing to sell, why bother? Last time I backordered one on BF, I got it in January IIRC. Given the economy, I’d be leery of ordering from a company that was re-making itself, had closed out all the other stuff and had nothing of their own to sell. Already have one item in limbo from an outfit going under.
What fresh Hell is this?

I ordered some stuff from them during their summer clearance sale. Nothing branded by SWFA, just some Talley mounts etc. Lot's of doubters and rumors here at tgat time , but I placed an order with them anyway. They delivered in a timely manner ,but communication was sorely lacking on order updates ,etc.
The "reorganization" of SWFA and their lack of info to the buying public about just WHAT their future plans are does not inspire much confidence in the future of the SWFA scope warrantee or service in the furure. Other optics companies seem to be competing with them too well in the "sub $500 scopes with decent optics that track well category" for SWFA'S management to drop the ball now.
I wish them the best, though.

I think Doug from camera land should buy them out. Or offer an in house line of scopes.

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

Received an email from SWFA: "Black Friday 10% off storewide hurry sale ends Nov 27". They have several scopes listed with reduced prices. Many of the scopes on sale have free accessories: some have a bubble level and sunshade others have the SSALT mount https://swfa.com/black-friday-deals/

They raised their prices prior to offering a "discount". I very much despise a company that pulls that specific stunt. Though I do like their 3x9 HD scope.
