Anyone have first hand experience they can share?

I've stumbled on one for a good price, they are just a bit of an unknown to me.

So are they good, bad or ugly?!?

thanks....Jeff

All good.
Only bad thing I can think of, is no big after martlet support.
Iā€™d Buy with confidence

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

One of my preferred budget rifles. Very good ergonomics on it. Flush 5+1 round mag, 3 position safety, excellent trigger, with sub moa accuracy.

I have the Cherokee version. Sleeper rifle. Smooth action, 3 position safety, fully adjustable trigger that can be adjusted without removing the stock, and that trigger is awesome. Mine will shoot, very accurate. 600 is a good price, I cant imagine you wont love it.

I believe they have a 14 1/2 inch length of pull.

You are correct and have a pretty basic pad, otherwise outstanding.

Since these rifles are closely related to the Mauser M12 (their magazines are interchangeable) maybe the stocks are similarly designed. If so, here is an easy way to shorten that long length of pull back by 1/2"

Shortening a Mauser M12 Stock

If it shoots like the M12s - get it!

Screw in barrel? I think the longer LOP is awesome. Most guns are short because they figure even a big guy can shoot a gun sized for someone 5ā€™3ā€. If your 6 foot a 14+ lop works best

I just at 6 foot with monkey arms and I like 14 when I am shooting in the the summer I a t shirt but l prefer 13.5 or 13.75 for hunting with a jacket or a pack. I can actually shot my girls 12.5 or 13 inch lop rifles in the field no problems. A little shorter lop seems easier to work around than to long.

I have owned two Sauer 100s. Both shooters.
