I traded into a CZ 452 American and need a set of scope rings that will mount to the dovetail. I have read that the American has 3/8" dovetail but some rings do not seat correctly. What rings have worked for you?

I have used the Weaver rimfire/air rifle rings for 15 or so years without any issue whatever. They give just enough clearance for the bolt handle to clear the rear objective which is a concern with many rimfire rings and the CZ 452 high bolt handle. They are a bubble pack item and cost around $10. - they look chintzy but they have worked without fail.

223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

My Burris Signature .22 rings came w two clamps, one for 11mm, the other for 3/8.
The BKL cantilver mount I got for the Anschutz Exemplar worked perfectly, so I'd suspect their rings to do same. Just didn't care for the look.

I have tried these and they were not friendly to my scope tube when slipping them over or moving them fore and aft as needed. At least that was my experience.

I have owned several CZ m452 Americans over the last 20+ years. One thing you MUST watch for in terms of ring height is not only the front bell clearance but the bolt handle clearance due to the eccessively large diameter Euro style eyepeices on many scopes these days.
I have used all of these rings on CZs during the lsst 20 years-
The "easy button" in terms of height ,cost and availability is the machined alumnum Weaver rings "Drover" mentioned above. Every Walmart stocks them for $10 .They look and fit fine with most hunting scope combos.
My second choice are the Talley medium fixed rings- they look classy, fit fine and if you install them carefully do not seem to scar up the scope.
My third choice would be the BKL. They are PLENTY HIGH to clear most eyepeices and objectives, but ugly as origional sin. They are also well machined ,made in the USA and reasonably priced.
Of the above rings, the BKL are the most tolerant of larger sized scopes. The Weavers and medium Talleys really should be used with small to medium sized scopes. You can always go with a high height set of Talleys if need be.

Regards: Warne rings, slip the long end of two Allen wrenches, one in each side of the ring, and squeeze them like a pair of pliers. This will expand the ring and eliminate scuffing the scope.

utg .22/airgun to picatinny/weaver aluminum adapter and burris signature zee rings is what i've come up with to be my favorite way to mount a scope to a CZ 452/455.

I went the j&p adapters with burris sig rings route on mine, weren't a lot of options back then. They worked great, then I decided to move that setup over to my t1x.
