Count me in. I'm hoping we'll see a Marlin 336SS too!

I have a JM 1894SS that I bought to replace the one that I foolishly sold. On days where I plan to sit in the treestand and shots are close it is a great tool for that. I have always like stainless with wood stocks. Just not always available in the gun/cartridge I want.

(Not saying you, just in general.) We grew up thinking the 30-30 was a "brush buster" for plugging away at deer 60 yards away in palmettos and saw grass. But my 336 is sub MOA with 150 TSX at 100 yards. I've had bolt guns I couldn't say that about.

I shoot a 200 grain Leverevolution in my 35 Remington and it will keep three under an inch at 100yds. Plenty good to kill deer.

Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?

I'd very much like to see a big-loop / stainless 336 in .30-30 or 1894 in .357 or .44.
Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a Mbius strip.
Here be dragons ...

Kilt plenty of venison and swine with Marlins in 30/30 and 44mag and 357mag despite hearing how anemic they are, and are only good for close in shots especially the 30/30
Plain ol jacketed run-of-the-mill and cast does just fine in my region where the animals roam sans armor
