When I shot my new Kahr Arms MK40 this past week I found it to shoot several inches low at 25 feet. I had to set my sight about 3" above the center to get in the 10 ring. Seeing that there is no up and down adjustment I wonder what my options are.
I asked two other Kahr owners how theirs shot and both said low. Any other Kahr owners see this with their guns?

Are you saying a taller front site is what he needs if it shoots low? He would need a shorter front site wouldn’t he?

My experiance is with two CW9s. Neither consistently shot low on average, but did shoot low with some brands of ammo. Try different loads and see what the gun likes.

What does you sight picture look like.Cover the bull or 6 o'clock hold. Can you go to a heavier bullet?

What does you sight picture look like.Cover the bull or 6 o'clock hold. Can you go to a heavier bullet? Blurry and wobbly. What do you suggest?

Try different loads and see what the gun likes.

Based on bullet weight and load velocity you should see a variety of POI vertical variation.
Light and fast usually hits lower, heavy and slower will hit higher.

None of my Kahrs have ever shot low. Is this your first Kahr? My girlfriend has a Kahr 9 and it shoots dead on.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

At its intended ranges, my Kahr CW45 hits right on. Way further out, it's high, then it's low, then it's left, then it's right... all in random order! But within "self defense" range, it's good to go.
As suggested, try a lower front sight or a higher rear sight, or a variety of ammo.

At its intended ranges, my Kahr CW45 hits right on. Way further out, it's high, then it's low, then it's left, then it's right... all in random order! But within "self defense" range, it's good to go.
As suggested, try a lower front sight or a higher rear sight, or a variety of ammo. Try not pushing the shot. Dry fire practice is your friend.

My daughters CM9 shoots spot on, and light's out. Works every time...a great deal on a great pistol. LOVE the ergo's on the Kahr's.
