I inherited a Winchester Model 61 that has a lot of sentimental value coming from my father and it being the first rifle I shot as a kid.

Way back when, it used to have a 1/2" scope side mounted, I think a weaver. Sometime in the 70's or 80's it was swapped out to a South Korean Bushnell 3x7 22 scope with the 1/2" tube. This scope is
has glass that is not clear, looks fogged up, and is not usable.

I would like a high quality 1/2" tube scope to retain the original side mount that had four holes drilled in the side of the receiver.

I know it is a long shot, but is there such thing as a quality 1/2" tube scope that has great glass?

If so, please advise and if they are still made, where.

I know Redfield made those back in the 70’s. Thought it was a 3/4” tube, don’t recall exactly. I know it was under an inch.

Just reminiscing which is no help to you.

I've seen a couple of those and would opt for an old, used, Redfield Frontier 4x 10 times out of 10.

I regularly see those old 3-7x Bushnells on eBay when I'm looking for 2.5-8x Scopechiefs.
