Ive got a Few Accubond 140s.

Dont want to waste them as they are hard to come by
.

I have Varget, H4350, IMR 4350, Imr4064, Benchmark, CFE223, Stabil6.5 powders

Wish I had some BG but will have to order some

48grs H4350 is very good in my Tikka.

Another great 140 gr. 7-08 bullet is the 140 gr. Sierra GK HPBT. In my rifle (Hart barrel) it’s slightly more accurate than the NBT, may be more expansive, still with good exits, chest shot WT’s. Quick kills.

BG is my first choice, Varget works well, as does StaBall.

Of the powders listed, I’d start with 6.5 Staball

There are three 7mm-08s in my house. New candidates get to stay if they will shoot a max charge of Varget (per Nosler Manual at SAAMI COL) with the 140 NAB. Have sent a couple down the road but I have three rifles that will shoot it MOA or better (Savage Axis, Ruger Frontier and Tikka T3X Superlite)

When hunting with kids and my wife I hate having to worry about keeping loads separate, thus the need for consistency.

A 140 grain Accubond over 48.0 grains of Big Game shoots well for me in a Rem 700 Mountain Rifle. H4350 works well too, but I get about 50 fps more with Big Game and slightly better accuracy.

Not Accubond, but 140 gr. SGK HPBT. NBT and NAB can't quite stay up with the SGK regarding tight groups. HPBT is pretty expansive, but I get good exits on chest shot WT's. Quick kills.

Of course it's a three shot group and those are hard to reproduce, but I can get very close and have done so with a number of subsequent groups. Solid half MOA combo.

Special gun, a keeper, look who built it. I put it in a McM Hunter's Edge; it has a Timney trigger.

Conquest with elevation turret, ballistic tape for this round. Conquest turret turns the wrong way; just follow the numbers and it works out OK. It does track well.

I shot them in mine when I first got it using 42.5 grains of IMR4064. It was an accurate load but I wasn't happy with the performance on deer. Where I'm at and the sized deer we have they just wouldn't expand at 7mm-08 velocity but I shoot the same bullet in my 7 mag and it does great in it.

DF, the one I put together for my son is similar other than factory barrel. Timney, Mc edge, milled follower, conquest 3-9x. Using the 140gr SGK SP instead of HPBT though over 42gr RL15. He’s taken 6 WT’s a black bear and a turkey with it so far at 17. I was planning on a barrel but it shot so well in factory guise I decided against it.

That is pretty close.

If the factory barrel shoots, and most Rem factory barrels do, then stay with it until it doesn't.

The SGK HPBT may be a bit more expansive than the SGK SP. I would go with the tougher bullet on tougher critters.

I finally settled on 42.5 grains Varget and a 140 gr bullet. I've owned four 7mm-08 rifles and they all like this load with a variety of bullets.
