I just received 50 brand new brass in a 9.3 x 62 from Raven Rocks Precision.

75% of the brass, the necks were bent or damage, I will not order anything more from them.

Has anyone else had problems with them?

Do they make their own brass? what brand was the brass? was it in boxes or bags?

Are they damaged too much to run them through a sizing die?

The brass is Norma, in a bag.

They probably buy it wholesale and bag it separately, but no excuse to not inspect what they are selling.

I have bought over a thousand pieces of brass from Raven Rocks without any problems.
Bill of Raven Rocks is a stand up guy. Contact him and ask him to resolve the problem.

Zero issues here with their stuff. It would seem one would call to resolve the issue first.

Did you even try giving them a chance to resolve the issue before going on line and trash talking them?

@elkhunter1945, sorry to hear that you're not happy with the brass.

That brass comes in 1000 ct OEM boxes (currently the only option for getting new Norma 9.3x62 in the US), and the brass is weighed out based on the quantity.

The larger the brass neck, the greater the chance that there will be dings/dents in the neck. Most size right out without any issues. We always recommend running your new brass through a sizing die prior to loading.

All that being said, you may very well have some unusable cases, and we want to take care of you--- regardless if you ever order anything from us again.

Please reach out via email and we'll make things right.

You don’t have a 9.3x62 sizing die??

I recently bought 300 hundred nickel 223 from them. No issues at all.

And plan on buying more from them soon

Don't sound like anything that a phone call or a sizing die won't fix.

Raven Rocks is amazing to deal with I have bought many many times from them. Can’t recommend them enough. New brass is always like this no matter what brand. Its because it falls off large machines along the way to being made and packaged. I guarantee 99% size right out. I know for a fact all you had to do was email or call them no need to bring it here. Be thankful someone is actually dealing with overseas suppliers on hard to find components and going through the hassle of importing it into the US. Also a it is a veteran owned small business and Bill is a great guy at that.

Let’s show him some support after this bs post
