Haven't been able to shoot my revolvers in 2.5 months now, starting to have withdrawals. I can almost hold the gun up to eye level...Give me another week.

I remember the feeling! Post surgery rehab was long, and I remember being so excited when I could stretch my arm up all the way overhead against a wall while facing it. Today, 3 years later almost to the day, I am doing construction and carpentry daily. Keep working - it will come!

Use the other arm and practice bullseye shooting. Great time to practice weak hand. Since it's all you can do, you will work harder at it and be less flusterated.

Said I would have better movement in my left shoulder than my right after everything, the right had no surgery, they were correct, took about 6 months, start o finish. You just keep on stacking cans and plates, pulling he rubber bands. It will all come.

Took the Python out this weekend. Can shoot weak hand, and two handed. Just can't hold it up with the strong hand yet. Detached both biceps and pectoral, so I have very iffy muscle control right now.

good luck with it gungeek. Eventually you'll get there.
I'm at day 16 post surgery on the dominant shoulder and getting really antsy but it'll be a few weeks before starting PT even. not sure how i'm gonna make it. might have to have a friend come haul me to the range on a nice day to shoot with the left hand.

having much the same issue due to a bout of frozen shoulder. Can't pull a handgun upward from a belt holster, can't hold my arm out straight enough to shoot well. I am carrying around a shotgun or a .30 Carbine in the car now.

Sling came off last week, I can shoot two handed now and spent a little time with my Python out in the sticks. I think in another week I'll be able to one hand. I think I'm even ready for my 20ga shotgun.

I bought a lead sled so I could shoot my rifle pre-surgery and SOONER post-surgery. I did not do much with my handguns(all 41 mags) during that time.
