Shot a big doe yesterday with a sierra 22cal 76.4gr TMK. I was very impressed how fast she went down, and I think I found my new go-to bullet

I like them on deer and hogs so far, although mine are from an 18” AR at moderate speed. What velocity, shot angle, bullet performance?
Now with even more aplomb

Strangely enough I just checked and they also have firsts and they’re cheaper than the seconds. 🤷🏼♂️

That's a great bullet. Very easy to get to shoot well. Mainly use them in the AR's though. They pass the FBI penetration tests. But who believes those idiots anymore? Nice to see they are available. They have been pretty hard to find.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I have a bunch of the 77gr TMK seconds that I'm going to try soon in my 8' twist 22-250. Wondering how they'll do at those velocities. Still have some 70 gr Accubonds left, but it appears when I use them up I'll have to move to something else, I don't think Nosler is producing them anymore. Shame too, because they work great on deer and hogs.

Just be aware that those Sierra tipped seconds will have a few with deformed or even missing tips. I've bought quite a few when I was through Sedalia, I segregate and use the ones that aren't up to snuff anyway for non-critical purposes.
