B Since the radius of B is 3A, then the diameters and circumferences are also the same ratios, 3x.

Don't be the darkness.
America will perish while those who should be standing guard are satisfying their lusts.

Solution: using 9 so you can easily use 3 to do the computation.
3.14172 (r) (r)
3.14172 (9) (9) = 254.46 circumference
3.14172 (3) (3) = 28.27 circumference
254.46 \ 28.27 = 9 ans. “E”

Circumference is 2*pi*R
Area is pi*R(squared)
Hint: the smaller circle follows a linear path along the bigger circle's circumference while rotating

hint , take two quarters and assume the radius of A and B are equal , rorate one quarter around the second one and count the number of revolution.

The circumference of the large circle is 3.14*2*R The circumference of the small circle is 3.14*2*1/3R If we divide the small circle circumference into the large circle circumference, we will get the number of full revolutions of the small circle.
3.14*2*R ----------- 3.14*2*1/3R
3.14, 2 and R cancel each other. You end up with 1 over 1/3 which is 3.
