Anyone have any experience with Kaps scopes. They have a fixed 6X that looks interesting.

I have one. Excellent optics, very consistent and accurate adjustment. And the 16-ounce weight isn't bad for a 30mm scope of it's size.

I had one and sold to a friend. Haven’t been able to find another. I did read on the fire you can order one from KAPS but it takes awhile, never did follow up.

For a while, optics-trade.eu (who I have ordered hard-to-find scopes from & highly recommend) used to carry almost the complete line of Kaps scopes. But a current look at their website (click here) only shows a limited selection. If you're really interested in getting one, I would shoot them an email & inquire about availability since a lot of these scopes are built when ordered & it takes a while. I had looked at the Kaps 4x before since that is a fixed power scope that you don't see made too often anymore.

I have one. The glass is really good. The scope, for a fixed six is big and it’s a heavy for a 6x too. If you’re not looking for a lightweight I’d recommend one. It been several years but I may have bought mine directly from Kaps. I tried to find one when in Europe with no luck so I think I contacted them directly.

I have three of them, and like them very much. They compare favourably with the S&B Hungaria scope line, in image quality and apparent build quality. Good value for the money. I have a fixed 4x, a 1-4x, and a 2-10x. IF you can find one or get one ordered without too much trouble, you can be confident that it will be a good scope.
