I stopped at Fin Feather Fur in Ashland Ohio. I handled the Henry revolver. Can someone tell me what all the hype is about?. It's just a rudimentary revolver that kind of reminds me of the old Ruger Service Six. Other than the brass grip frame there is nothing to it.
The older I become the more I am convinced that the voice of honor in a man's heart is the voice of GOD.

Ugly, as that women that's left standing at a bar when last call is made! Yes , it will work but no one would want to be seen with it or afterwards, admit that they used it!

They come with a complimentary paper bag, so you can put it over your head so no one will recognize you after the purchase…

Yeah, I was never impressed with their look. They've been out for about a year now. In case you're interested, Hickok45 did a review of one recently.

Gee by golly, how hard (3 seconds) to post a picture to give your thread some extra meat. I suppose it’s incumbent upon me to drop this into the search bar on my duck-duck if I’d like to see this abortion. Grrrr!!! been on 18 fugking years and can’t post a pic?

Cascade and his pal Gavin did a video on a pair of them. Seem solid, but unremarkable except in their appearance, and that not in a good way. Gotta wonder what the impetus for this launch was. Can only guess that they think there are a whole bunch of diehard Henry lovers out there that sales are pretty certain. There seem to be a lot of human raccoons who get all moist in their undies over brass firearms, so maybe that’s the idea.
There are gazillions of solid used S&W and Ruger DAs out there with similar features, which is to say plain fixed-sight service models. That’s pretty tough competition when the Henry is at least twice the price of those others, and may or may not fit in existing holsters.
Keep your eyes on CDNN for the closeouts…….
What fresh Hell is this?

If only they were as good as an old ruger service six......

I think it must have taken a committee to come up with something that homely. And a bean counting accountant to come up with that price point....... for what should sell for $300. My gut feeling is that it's a good deal for $275 but at $800 it's a sale offered to those that don't know much about guns.

Kinda looks like 25 different people were told to design one part, without seeing any others. And then they screwed it all together

Why didn’t they just make a single action Colt 1873 clone and market it as “American Made” and price it around the same as the Italian imports or a bit less? I might actually be interested in one of those.
