What would be a fair price to both parties for a NIB Ruger Redhawk 7-1/2 SS w/ oak handles? Bought new in 1974.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Caliber 44mag? Does it have the indentations for rings? Not sure if they even did that back then. Did Ruger even manufacture the Redhawk in 1974?

Most likely walnut grips, if they are factory Ruger Originals. Probably in the $1000 to $1200 range.
They are great handguns. But not rare by any means.

And they were not yet made in 1974.

They were first introduced by Ruger in 1979. But you couldn’t buy one until 1980.

And the first ones were blue. Not stainless.

Thank you. This is why I'm asking. Not an aficionado by any means.

First RedHawks were stainless. Blue wasn’t offered until 84-85ish. Nice guns!

I'm guessing it is 44? Caliber does make a difference.
